If you don't have any "formica", cut a circle from a margarine tub to use as a friction reducer behind the idler wheel !
I used cocktail sticks for stopper handles and made a V block for the reservoir spring.
The V block means that you do not need to use a lolly stick to stop the spring moving about.

LEATHER for the bellows, stoppers, and anywhere a tight seal is required...they also offer FISH GLUE, which is great for glueing leather to wood.....Columbia Organ Co. in PA. They offer a catalog and if you call or email them, and ask for what I bought, they will know exactly what is needed....they are nice to deal with. (columbiaorgan.com)

GLUE. Elmers Carpenter's Wood Glue, available at any hardware store...set time 30 min. warm water clean up, sands and finishes well. The PVA glue such as Elmers Glue-ALL is ok, but a bit 'soupy'...
